At TruSight Optometry, we strive to provide comprehensive, compassionate and timely service to every patient. When you schedule an appointment with us, we set aside enough time to provide you with the highest quality care. We understand that there are times when you must miss an appointment due to an emergency or other commitment. However, when a patient repeatedly cancels or arrives late for appointments, clinic flow is disrupted, which negatively impacts other patients, our providers and our staff.
Should you need to cancel or rescheduled an appointment, please contact our office as soon as possible, no later than 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. This gives us time to schedule other patients who may be waiting for an appointment. If a patient fails to do so, the following policies will be in effect, beginning August 1st, 2024:
- Arriving more than 10 minutes after your appointment time will result in the appointment being rescheduled to another day.
- Patients who do not show up, who arrive late or who cancel within 24 hours of a scheduled appointment 2 times within 12 months will be charged a $40.00 non-refundable fee to reschedule their next appointment.
- Patients who do not show up, who arrive late or who cancel a scheduled appointment without proper notice 3 times within 12 months may be dismissed from the provider's care.
